Motherless Child - Ukulele Tab and Chord Sheet and Recordings

Traditional songs create space to add more lyrics and play around with arrangement and feel. I took as the starting point Ruby and Smith’s fantastic ukulele and vocal version but the song has ended up sounding quite different. It wanted to go somewhere else under my fingers and in my head and for my students and so it did! Interesting. I hope you can take this song somewhere along your own musical path.
