FEVER - A simple ukulele part

This is a pretty fun song to play. I've simplified the bass line to accomodate uke tuning and make it accessible to beginnner players.  I'll stick up some Chicks with Picks playing it when they've learnt it or send me your version and I'll post that!Have fun!

Never know how much I love you,
Never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me,
I get a fever that's so hard to bear
You give me fever, when you kiss me,
Fever when you hold me tight
Fever! In the morning, fever all through the night

[Riff 1]
Sun lights up the daytime, moon lights up the night
I light up when you call my name,
And you know I'm gonna treat you right
You give me fever, when you kiss me,
Fever when you hold me tight
Fever! In the morning, fever all through the night

[Riff 1]
Everybody's got the fever, that is something you all know
Fever isn't such a new thing, fever started long ago

Romeo loved Juliet, Juliet she felt the same
When he put his arms around her,
He said, "Julie, Baby, you're my flame"
"Thou giveth fever, when we kisseth,
Fever with thy flaming youth
"Fever! I'm afire, fever, yeah, I burn, forsooth."

A-2-5-2-5-2-----0---|
G-------------------|

[Riff 3:]Play twice per verse.
A|---------------------------------------|

Captain Smith and Pocahontas had a very mad affair
When her daddy tried to kill him,
She said, “Daddy, oh, don't you dare!”
"He gives me fever with his kisses,
Fever when he holds me tight
Fever! I'm his misses, so Daddy,
Won't you treat him right?”

[Riff 3]
Now you've listened to my story,
Here's the point that I have made
Chicks were born to give you fever,
Be it Fahrenheit or Centigrade
They give you fever, when you kiss them,
Fever if you live and learn
Fever! 'till you sizzle, what a lovely way to burn

[Repeat this part:]
A|---------------|
C#--------3------|
A|(2)-5-2---0-2--|
G|-------------- | (2) first time only

What a lovely way to burn
What a lovely way to burn
What a lovely way to burn

[Outro:]
A|-------------|
C#-------------|
A|-------------|
G|-10-7-2-5-7--|

Chicks with Picks Melbourne mini flashmob at The Guitar Gallery

Today, some of the Chicks with Picks Melbourne guitarists gathered at The Guitar Gallery in Fitzroy, which is owned by Gerry Hale. Our plan was to choose a guitar each from the walls of beautiful things and play our rendition of Doc Watson's song Deep River Blues. Our little flash mob was great fun. As soon as we'd started playing, Gerry Hale became an honorary Chick when he grabbed his mandolin and joined our throng. Thanks to Jude, who you can hear singing along, for filming the fun. Thanks to Rachel, Amy (who's only 10), Sarah, Penny and Marilla for the tunes and Richard and Ella for coming along in support. Enjoy!
